While my experience when I actually get to see a nurse or a doctor is very good, obtaining an appointment is a nightmare. I welcomed the introduction of online booking when it first came in as I personally found it far better than hanging on to the phone for ages or having to go to the surgery in person to book. However, while I appreciate that the new telephone triage system is useful for arranging same day appointments, it seems to have coincided with the demise of the online booking system. I don't see a doctor that often, and it's usually something that I don't really consider needs an urgent, same day, appointment but will be OK if seen within a week or so. However, there are rarely any appointments at all now online so we are back to having to wait until someone answers the phone. I don't understand why we can't have both systems simultaneously as they are for different needs: a telephone system of triage for same day appointments, and advance online booking of other appointments (with a telephone option for those without internet access). Or is the reality that same day urgent appointments are being prioritised at the expense of those of us who don't see everything wrong with us as being in need of same day consultation?

This is now the second occasion that the incompetent doctors at this surgery have been unable to diagnose what has been wrong with my 11 month old son properly. The communication about what else could have been the diagnosis was non existent I believe due to their arrogance about thinking they are absolute experts. Absolutely useless. We will be moving to another surgery

Absolutely diabolical, over the last few years myself, and my family have had a number of issues with Delapre Medical centre (both Whitefields surgery (since the takeover) and Delapre). The latest is just another example of extremely poor patient care. Very rude GP who failed to notice a very severe infection which even I could spot myself. Although they eventually gave some antibiotics, they were sure it wasn't infected though, the Dr's in A&E pretty much laughed at what was given and the fact they'd failed to notice it was quite clearly very infected. (The A&E trip made after lots of pus began to leak out of the area that 'wasn't infected') This led to a hospital admittion that potentially could have been avoided had appropriate care and advice been provided at the time. I think this time a proper complaint will have to be made. As an NHS worker myself it's not something i want to do as I understand the pressures on services but this is just one too many failings for my family now.

I took my daughter to the surgery today as requested via a letter from the surgery for her pre-school immunisations. We waited 20 minutes passed our appointment time to be seen, as you can imagine its quite an anxious wait for a 3 year old who is told they have to have an injection so waiting 20 minutes extra was quite unsettling for her. I was so shocked and utterly discusted at how the injection was administered and how non child friendly the nurse was who.administered it. She did not clean my daughters arm prior to either injection and she stabbed the needle in her little arm so hard it was like she was was stabbing a piece of meat for slaughter. I did question this and she.said it has to be done that way as it has to go into the muscle....she almost drove he needle into bone let alone the muscle. She showed no sympathy for my daughter. My daughter sobbed for nearly an hour after the immunisations and the amount of bleeding was extreme. We have never had this kind of experience with immunisations before over the past 3 years. I have taken advice today from another nurse who has confirmed that this is not the correct proceedure of administering the injections. So please do not respond.to me saying the practice of the nurse was correct as it clearly was not. This experience today will make it even harder to get my daughter to have immunisations in the future....big thanks for that. I will make sure we go somewhere else in future or if we are given the same nurse i will refuse her immunising my daughter..

Always struggle to get appointments, feel like when a doctor calls you back they're more interested in how to get you off the phone than actually wanting to see you. The system is absolutely terrible and very very flawed
